PPS is a Blackpool-based letting and property management company working with landlords across the Fylde Coast, including Fleetwood. We help landlords protect their investment, stay on top of compliance and let to the right tenants.
Fleetwood sits at the northern end of the Fylde Coast, a short distance up the coast from our Blackpool base and linked to Blackpool by the tram line. We do not have an office in Fleetwood. Landlords here work with our Blackpool team, who arrange lettings, tenancy management and maintenance for properties in the area.
Many landlords want more from an agent than a listing and a rent collection service. Our approach is practical: assess the property honestly, prepare it properly for letting, select tenants carefully, and keep on top of the compliance and condition issues that can quietly erode a rental investment.
If you are not sure where to start, a rental valuation is a sensible first step. It tells you what the property could achieve and what, if anything, needs doing before it is let.
Every property is different, but these are the questions we raise first with landlords in and around Fleetwood.
Fleetwood is a planned town founded in the 1830s, and many of its homes are older terraced and period properties. Older buildings can mean dated wiring, solid walls and damp-prone areas, so it pays to establish the condition before a tenancy starts. Our maintenance service can help with repairs and upgrades.
A location near the sea exposes buildings to wind, rain and salt air. Roofs, gutters, pointing, windows and external paintwork benefit from regular checks, and small problems are cheaper to deal with early.
Some landlords look at letting larger properties to sharers. Under national rules, a property let to five or more people from more than one household who share facilities needs a mandatory HMO licence. Fleetwood is in the Wyre borough, so check the current licensing position for your address with Wyre Council. Our HMO licensing guide explains the principles.
Plenty of landlords own in Fleetwood without living nearby. Remote and overseas landlord management is a core part of what we do. See how it works on our remote landlord page.

Invest from anywhereLandlords in England carry a growing list of obligations. We help you manage them and identify anything that is outstanding. Responsibility for compliance stays with the landlord.
Properties with gas appliances need an annual gas safety check by a Gas Safe registered engineer, with a copy given to the tenant.
Privately rented homes in England need an electrical installation condition report (EICR) at least every five years, which matters particularly in older properties.
A valid EPC is needed to let a property, and minimum efficiency standards apply. Older coastal properties are worth checking early.
Tenancy deposits must be protected, tenants must be checked for the right to rent, and smoke and carbon monoxide alarms provided as required.
The rules changed in 2026. Read our 2026 landlord law changes briefing or the official GOV.UK landlord overview.
A Blackpool-based team focused on protecting your investment and improving housing standards.
Careful tenant selection, regular inspections and early attention to maintenance all help protect the value and income of your property.
We want rental homes to be safe, warm and well kept. That is good for tenants, and well-maintained properties are usually easier to let and keep let.
If a property needs work before it can be let, or a plan will not stack up, we will say so. A realistic view at the start saves money later.
Lettings, management and maintenance coordination come from one business, so you are not chasing several firms. We do not claim an office in every town.

We have experience with HMOs and shared accommodation. Whether a particular house needs a licence depends on its occupancy and on the council schemes in place, so the position should be checked with Wyre Council before a letting plan is agreed.
Often, yes, but condition matters. Older properties may need electrical, heating or damp work before they can be let safely. We can review the property and tell you what we would want done first.
